Responsibilities:

  • Integration of UI elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
  • Design and implementation of high-performant applications.
  • Partner with Product Owners and Agile teams across the organization to create and implement new products.
  • Keep up to date with BE technologies and industry-wide best practices.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 5 + years of experience in developing back-end service code with Node JS and frameworks available for it (Express) in an Agile environment
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, ReactJS / Angular.
  • Experience in writing database queries and TypeORM
  • Experience in writing RESTful web services.
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML5, and CSS.
  • Understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Good to have –
    • Basic understanding of cloud components like AWS API gateway, S3, Lambda, EC2 or equivalent in other cloud providers.
    • Understanding of Unit Testing Frameworks like Jest, and Karma.
