Summary:
Looking for skilled and detail-oriented BI Publisher Developers and Designers to join our team for Oracle Utilities implementation projects. The ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of Oracle BI Publisher and experience building, designing, and deploying custom reports in Oracle Utilities applications like CCB, MDM, WAM, SOM, and Lodestar.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, understand business reporting needs, and deliver high-quality BI Publisher solutions aligned with business and functional requirements.
Responsibilities:
BI Publisher Developer
- Develop and deploy BI Publisher reports for Oracle Utilities applications (CCB, MDM, WAM, SOM, Lodestar, etc.).
- Create and optimize data models using XML, XSD, and XSLT.
- Write complex SQL queries and PL/SQL procedures to extract, transform, and deliver data.
- Integrate BI Publisher with Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF).
- Ensure performance tuning and troubleshooting of BI reports.
- Participate in end-to-end SDLC, including development, testing, and support.
- Work closely with functional consultants to translate business needs into technical solutions.
BI Publisher Designer
- Understand business requirements and design intuitive, efficient report layouts.
- Develop report templates using RTF, PDF, and Excel formats.
- Ensure consistent branding, formatting, and user experience across all reports.
- Use BI Publisher layout tools effectively to build pixel-perfect documents.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather visual and layout requirements.
- Support UAT and iterate on the design based on stakeholder feedback.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in BI Publisher report development and/or design.
- Strong understanding of Oracle Utilities applications (at least one: CCB, MDM, WAM, SOM, Lodestar).
- Expertise in writing SQL and working with Oracle Database.
- Experience with XML, XSL, XSD, and RTF template development.
- Familiarity with Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF).
- Good understanding of data models used in Oracle Utilities products.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with business and technical teams.
