We are looking for a high-energy, visionary Sales and Marketing Director to spearhead our growth in North America, drive market expansion, and establish Abjayon as a trusted partner in the utilities ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the Growth Strategy: Lead the charge in expanding our Oracle Utilities Implementation Practice across North America, setting ambitious sales targets and achieving revenue milestones.
- Pipeline Leadership: Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, leveraging your deep network within the utilities space, Oracle account teams, and SI partners to uncover and secure new business opportunities.
- Strategic Relationship Management: Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, including utility CIOs, Directors, and Procurement leaders, ensuring Abjayon remains a trusted advisor.
- Market Intelligence and Positioning: Stay ahead of industry trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics, using insights to shape go-to-market strategies and enhance Abjayon’s market positioning.
- Collaborative Selling: Partner with Oracle’s sales, pre-sales, and delivery teams to craft compelling, client-centric value propositions that drive joint sales success.
- Deal Shaping and Closing: Lead the charge on critical go/no-go decisions, define winning proposal strategies, and negotiate favorable terms for both Abjayon and clients.
- Thought Leadership: Represent Abjayon at industry conferences, Oracle forums, and customer events, enhancing brand visibility and credibility in the utilities domain.
- Forecasting and Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts, market insights, and strategic guidance to the executive team, ensuring alignment with business growth objectives.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in IT services or consulting sales, with a minimum of 3 years focused on Oracle Utilities solutions.
- Proven track record in building and managing high-value client relationships within the utilities sector.
- Deep understanding of Oracle Utilities products (C2M, CC&B, MDM, WAM, OFS, NMS) and the challenges facing today’s utility providers.
- Strong network of utility decision-makers across North America.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and executive presentation skills.
- Self-starter mindset, capable of thriving in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
Preferred:
- Prior experience with Oracle or an Oracle SI/Partner.
- Exposure to international utility markets is a plus.
